Visiting Koh Tao

So you're visiting Koh Tao and are unsure what to do? 

Out of those of us that live here, some of us eat, most of us drink and all of us dive! This really is a diver's paradise. But what should you do after you've finished diving?

This is our take on what Koh Tao has to offer, purely from our own experiences!

Want somewhere to drink? Fishbowl and Leo are the 2 main late night places. Earlier on, try Maya, Local and AC. All offer something a little different from each other. 

Want great food? Well, what else would you want after great diving?! Try Infinity and Family Kitchen. Lazy bar is great for lasagne on a sunday and workshop has the BEST breakfast in thailand!

Looking for some fun? Local bar has everything you want. Pub quizzes, karaoke and rock n' roll bingo.

Don't forget the sunset. Our favourite places are Asava resort and family kitchen. Either enjoying a great drink or food to die for! 

If you want something completely different to do, Koh Tao escape rooms is the newest "must do" on this idyllic island!

Getting around

It's really easy to get around, nowhere is too far to hike and the taxis are pretty cheap! If you do rent a bike, we'd suggest you at least wear a helmet! We have a couple of spare helmets if the bike you rent doesn't come with 1.

Whatever you want, Koh Tao has it. This paradise island really is THE place to be!
